State Security Service Employees celebrated the Professional Day.
On March 28, the 99th anniversary of establishment of Azerbaijan’s security authorities was completed. Every year, the 28th of March is celebrated as the professional holiday of employees of security authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan under the Order signed by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev on March 23, 1997. Currently Azerbaijan has turned into one of the most stable countries around the world in the result of the works carried out in safe protection and security of our statehood and national interests under the leadership of the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev. The SSS has a particular role in protection of our people’s national interest and wellbeing, of security, as well as in maintenance of stability and tranquility in our country. The employees of Gabala region department of State Security Services have also celebrated the holiday on March 28. On that day, the event participants put the garland on wreath and laid flowers at the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s monument erected in the center of the city, and expressed their deep reverence for the cherished memory of the great leader. Along with the employees of Gabala regional department of the SSS, the Deputy Head of Gabala region Executive Power Abil Aghasafov and the heads of the regional law enforcement authorities attended the event, which was held on the occasion of professional holiday of the State Security Services.
