The development of tourism is in the spotlight.
In connection with the start of the summer tourist season, the hotels and recreation centers of the region provide high-quality services at affordable prices for customer satisfaction. Excellent conditions have been created for the effective organization of tourists' rest in recreation and entertainment centers. At the moment, about 100 large and small tourist sites of Gabala during the day can receive 4,500 guests, provide them with food and hotel services at a high level. In connection with the beginning of the summer tourist season in our country, the prices for services rendered to citizens in the recreation centers in the Gabala region have significantly decreased. In the rest centers, guests, along with modern hotel services, are offered delicious dishes of Azerbaijani and European cuisine. Most five-star hotels and recreation centers organize for guests walks to the mountains by cable car, shooting sports, walks through the forest, horseback riding, fishing, boating on the lake, tours to the sights and historical monuments of the region. Discounts are also offered in one of the most frequently visited places in Gabala - the "Gabaland" Recreational and Entertainment Center and the "Tufandag" Summer-Winter Recreation and Tourism Complex. From January 1 to May 15 of the current year, 90 thousand tourists arrived in the region, this indicator is more than 2 times as compared to the same period of the previous year. Approximately 50 thousand tourists who came to Gabala are foreigners. Last year, Gabala was visited by 242125 tourists. 101650 of them are local and 140160 are foreign tourists. Most tourists who came to Gabala are from Russia, Turkey, Great Britain, Iraq, Ukraine, Latvia, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Georgia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Israel, Pakistan and Egypt.
