The Minister of Culture met with the citizens in Gabala.

Heads of central executive bodies receive people every month in the cities and regions of the country. The next meeting of the Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev with the citizens was held on June 22 in Gabala. In the Gabala city Culture Center, the minister received the residents of Agsu, Gabala, Gobustan, Ismayilli and Shamakhi regions. Prior to the meeting, Abulfas Garayev paid tribute to the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, laying flowers at his monument. The Minister of Culture familiarized himself with the Center. At the reception, citizens' appeals were heard on various issues. Residents of Shamakhi appealed to the Minister with requests for the granting of awards and honorary titles to cultural workers, the restoration of historical monuments, the construction of the State Art Gallery in Shamakhi and other issues. The appeals of Ismayilli residents concerned the construction of a sanatorium for cultural workers in the region, the awarding of the title "People's collective" to the Lahic folklore group, the organization of visits to foreign countries for artists and folklore groups of regions covered by the Ismayilli Regional Culture Department, the construction of a new building for the Museum of Local History or transfer of the existing building to the balance of the regional administration, repair of the roof of the House of Creativity of Diyalli village and other issues. The appeals of Gabala citizens, who signed up for the reception, concerned the organization of meetings with famous writers and poets, the purchase of electronic books related to intellectual games for children, the printing of stage works in accordance with the repertoire of the people's theater, the Heydar Aliyev Center's enrichment, the opening of the violin class in School of Arts. Residents of Agsu appealed to the minister with suggestions on the curriculum for accordion course in the Children's Music School, as well as with proposals for the restoration of historical monuments in the region and other issues. Residents of Gobustan appealed in connection with the assignment of an inventory number to the caves, dating back to the period before the Common Era, in the part of the region called Narimankend, providing professional assistance to folklore groups. At the reception, some of the appeals of citizens found their solution, other issues were taken under control for consideration, instructions were given in connection with taking the necessary measures.
