The Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs met in Gabala with citizens of the region.
According to the instructions and recommendations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, heads of central executive bodies continue to receive citizens in the regions and take prompt measures to resolve their appeals. On August 1, the Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Hijran Huseynova received in Gabala Cultural Centre citizens from Gobustan, Aghsu, Shamakhi, Ismayilli and Gabala regions and listened to their appeals and suggestions. Prior to the reception, the chairman of the State Committee, Hijran Huseynova, and the head of the Gabala Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, laid flowers to the monument of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and paid tribute to his memory. The appeals at the reception concerned mainly the protection of the rights of women and children, employment, health care and other issues. Some of the requests were resolved on the spot, some were taken under control for study. Citizens were given detailed explanations in connection with appeals not related to the authorities of the committee which execution was taken under control and they were sent to the appropriate structures. Then the chairman of the State Committee, Hijran Huseynova, met with the active women of Gabala region. During the meeting, issues related to the protection of women’s and children’s rights, the development of women’s entrepreneurship and other issues were discussed. The chairman of the committee told about the priority directions of the state women’s policy in the republic and answered questions interested women.
