An event was held in the Gabala Cultural Center as part of the "Children's Book Caravan" project.
Within the "Children's Book Caravan" project, at the initiative of the Republican Children's Library named after F. Kocharli, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, an event with the participation of schoolchildren and book lovers was held at the Gabala Cultural Center. Among those who came to the meeting with book lovers, the well-known children's writers in Azerbaijan, Zahid Khalil, Alamdar Guluzade, Solmaz Amanova, Reyhan Yusif gyzy, Sevinj Nuriyeva, took part. It was noted that the main goal of the "Children's Book Caravan" project, implemented since 2011, is to increase interest in children's literature through a traveling exhibition, to draw public attention to books and libraries in the regions of the country, by attracting children to reading and meeting their needs in books. It was brought to the attention that the traveling exhibition of books held in the regions within the project until today aroused great interest among children and adolescents, a total of 21,670 copies of children's literature were donated to 26 regional children's libraries. The schoolchildren who participated in the event read poems and answered various questions regarding literature. In conclusion, the guests presented books to the readers.
