Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kuwait in Azerbaijan Saud Abdulaziz Alroomi visited Gabala region for familiarization.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kuwait in Azerbaijan Saud Abdulaziz Alroomi visited Gabala region on January 24. Within the framework of acquaintance with the district, a meeting was held in the administrative building of the executive power of Gabala region between plenipotentiary ambassador and the head of the regional executive power, Sabuhi Abdullayev. The head of the regional executive power gave detailed information to the Ambassador on the history, economy, social and cultural life of the region. It was noted that positive results were achieved in the region as a result of large-scale measures recently implemented by the head of the country Ilham Aliyev in the direction of the development of agriculture, gardening, vine-growing, vegetable growing, tobacco and cattle breeding, which form the basis of the economy. Stating that the region is rich in beauty and hospitality, Sabuhi Abdullayev stressed that Modern products manufactured in Gabala are exported to many countries around the world. It was noted that, tourism potential of the region was taken into consideration, and positive progress was made in the development of local and foreign tourism in the fascinating region with ancient history. Expressing his gratitude for cordial reception and hospitality, Ambassador Saud Abdulaziz Alroomi spoke about the positive results of bilateral cooperation between Kuwait and Azerbaijan. The Ambassador was interested in measures taken in connection with the region's potential in agriculture, science, education and tourism. During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed and views were exchanged. Within the framework of the visit, Saud Abdulaziz Alroomi visited Heydar Aliyev Congress Center, “Asan khidmat” center, manufacturing and processing enterprises of the region and showed interest in tourism places of the region. The ambassador parted from Gabala region with pleasant impressions.
