The reporting session has been held on the results of 2018 and the upcoming duties in 2019 at the Gabala city administrative office.

A reporting session on the work done in 2018 was held at the administrative subdivision of Gabala city on January 31. The representatives of the city community, heads of management, enterprises and service organizations operating in the area attended at the session. Making the opening speech, the City Administrative Representative Damir Baghirov made a report on the work done in the area in 2018. The participants of the meeting were informed about the great renovation works done in our country in 2018 under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. It was noted that successful policy ensuring balanced economic development has made our country one of the leading countries in the region. Damir Bagirov said that today's development and progress of Azerbaijan is a triumph of the socio-economic policy that President Ilham Aliyev successfully accomplished. As a result of the attention and care shown to the regions by the head of state, today the districts, settlements and villages are changing, and everywhere, great work is done. The reporter noted that Qabala region, as well as our city has been living its rapid development period on the background of today’s development and progess of Azerbaijan. It was stressed that Gabala has become one of the world's cultural centers, and our city has hosted many international events due to the projects implemented here. İt was also noted that ın order to provide high quality services to the urban population, territorial representation has prepared and implemented a number of measures, and that the need to the electricity, blue fuel, telephone and internet service, drinking water and utility services has been completely provided. It was noted that construction works are underway in the second phase of the reconstruction of the water-sewerage system in the area, cleanliness of the parks and alleys, regular work for the organization of recreation for the townspeople and tourists are being done regularly. It was noted that the avenues and streets of the city were rebuilt in modern architectural style, asphalt pavement on the roads, and sidewalks for pedestrians were laid. The teacher of the school No 1 Esmira Asadova, tutor teacher of the orphanage and kindergarten Aytan Mammadova, the chairman of the regional board of Elder people Nazim Mustafayev, the director of the educational department Arifa Bayramova, the chairman of the regional office of Red Crescent Society Sadagat Bayramova and others made speech and highly appreciated the renovation and construction work done in the city of Gabala. The speakers expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and care shown to the rapid development of Gabala. The First Deputy Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power, Abil Aghasafov participated at the meeting and informed about the the tasks set before the government agencies and local executive bodies by the head of the state at the conference on the results of the "State Program on Socio-Economic Development of the regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2014-2018" on January 29. The official of the REP stated that the reconstruction of the water-sewerage network, power economy, construction of the central hospital complex and the Laki-Gabala railway is continued due to the great attention and care shown to the development of Gabala by the head of the state. The first deputy head of the REP said that this attention and care demanded us to work better and at the same time increased our responsibility and expressed confidence that the socio-economic projects and improvement works will be expanded in Gabala in 2019. A relevant draft decision was adopted at the reporting session.
