"Gabala" defeated "Sabah" and reached the fourth place.

The 16th round of the Azerbaijani Premier League started on February 9. The starting meeting of the tour took place at the "Alinja Arena" stadium. The "Sabah" team received the "Gabala" team. The match, judged by Sabuhi Bayramov, ended with the victory of the "Gabala" club with a score of 0:1. The only goal of the regional representative in the game was provided by Rauf Aliyev at 31 minutes. At the 45th minute of the match, Marko Devic, considered to be the main assisting weapon of "Sabah" team, received a second yellow card and was sent off. After this victory, “Gabala” brought the number of points to 23 and reached the fourth place in the standings, and the “Sabah” team went down to fifth place with 20 points.
