Schoolchildren of Gabala will become closely acquainted with the western region of our republic within the framework of the tour-campaign.
Ceremony for departure of the schoolchildren of Gabala region to Ganja city, Shamkir, Goygol, Tovuz, Gazakh and Aghstafa regions was held on March 23, within the framework of “Learning our country” organized for 9th-11th grade pupils of the cities and regions of our republic. Pupils become closely acquainted with the achievements obtained in the economic and social sphere, construction and renovation works in each region of our country related to the upbringing of the younger generation in the spirit of love for the Motherland which is one of the main goals of the state youth policy carried out in Azerbaijan. The educational tour-campaigns held under the slogan of “Learning our country” serve exactly this goal. The executive power of the region established headquarters for the organization of the educational tour-campaign. Schoolchildren to be participated in the tour-campaign passed medical examination and special clothes were distributed to the pupils. Head of Information Provision and Analysis Division of the Region Executive Power Zahir Karimov was assigned the group leader. Then, 40 participants of the tour-campaign laid fresh flowers in front of the national leader Heydar Aliyev’s monument. In the end, the tour-campaign pupils and their accompanying teachers set off in the direction of Tovuz region in a special bus intended for them.
