Kiev Virtuosi performed in Gabala with an interesting concert.

The third day of the XI Gabala International Music Festival pleases music lovers and city visitors with interesting concert programs. Within the framework of the festival, on the evening of August 2, the audience was shown a concert of the Kiev Virtuosi Symphony Orchestra in the Gabala Cultural Centre. The concert was attended by representatives of the organizers of the festival, music lovers and guests of the city. Before the concert, Professor of the U.Hajibeyli Baku Academy of Music, People’s Artist Ulviyya Hajibayova spoke briefly about the activities of the Kiev Virtuosi Symphony Orchestra, the creative successes of the performers and the works to be performed. It was noted that the Kiev Virtuosi Symphony Orchestra is one of the leading groups in Ukraine. The orchestra won the sympathy of listeners and critics on the national and international stage. This young orchestra, which average age of musicians is 30 years old, brought together many talented Ukrainian musicians who won international competitions. The orchestra gained popularity in Ukraine, popularizing works by Western composers, as well as working closely with prominent contemporary composers such as K.Penderetsky, V.Silvestrov and M.Skorik. During these years, the specific sound and skill of the orchestra attracted the attention of many world-famous soloists and conductors and prompted to perform in joint projects. The latest orchestra tours cover Switzerland, France, Spain, Azerbaijan and the countries of South America. The audience greeted with applause the performances of soloists Boris Andrianov (Russia) and Toghrul Huseynli (Azerbaijan) at the concert conducted by the artistic director of the XI Gabala International Music Festival, the world-famous cellist Dmitry Yablonsky (Israel-USA). Within the framework of the festival, the next concert of the Kiev Virtuosi Symphony Orchestra will be held on the afternoon of August 3 in the city of Sheki.
