The Pakistani delegation paid a visit to the Gabala region.

On June 13, a delegation led by Prime Minister Hafiz-Ur-Rahman of the Gilgit-Baltistan province in Pakistan paid a visit to Gabala. During the visit in order to get acquainted with the region guests were met by the first deputy chief of the executive power of region Abil Aghasafov at the Qafqaz River-Side Hotel. During the meeting, Abil Aghasafov provided the delegation with detailed information about the history, economy, social and cultural life of the region and said that thanks to large-scale measures for the development of agriculture, which forms the basis of the economy in Gabala in recent years positive results have been achieved. Speaking about the unsurpassed beauty and hospitality of the region, the first deputy chief of the executive power of region noted that today the tourism infrastructure in the Gabala region is one of the main and important areas. Thanks to the excellent conditions created here, the number of tourists arriving in the region is noticeably growing every year. Noting that this was his first visit to Gabala, the official representative of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan said that he was very impressed with our area. The guest also provided detailed information on the history, cultural life and tourism potential of the Pakistani province of Gilgit-Baltistan. Hafiz-Ur-Rahman noted that they are interested in further development of relations with Azerbaijan in all areas. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on issues of common interest. During the visit, the delegation led by Hafiz-Ur-Rahman got acquainted with the tourist infrastructure, historical places, sports and recreation complexes and industrial enterprises of the region.
