There was a meeting-reception of the head of the Gabala region executive power, Mr. Sabuhi Abdullaev, with the residents of the village of Solguja. The reception meeting was attended by officials of the district’s executive authorities, heads of law enforcement agencies, education, health care and other service organizations, as well as representatives of rural communities. At the meeting, the head of the EPR spoke about the work on improvement, economic and social progress in the country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. It was noted that on the example of Gabala, the village of Salguja, you can see the extensive construction work being carried out in the country. It was mentioned at the event that in recent years an administrative-territorial representation has been created in the village, a new administrative building has been built for the representation, the village’s primary school has been transformed into a general secondary school, and a school building aqccording modern standards has been built for this educational institution. The head of the EPR said that overhaul in the electrical industry would begin in the coming months. In order to protect settlements from flood waters, measures will be taken to strengthen coastal zones on the right bank of Garachay next year. The head of the district said that this issue would be raised before the relevant organizations for the construction of a gas pipeline to the village of Solguja and gave specific recommendations to the villagers about the strict protection of forests. Then the villagers who took part in the reception meeting were heard. Representatives of the public speaking at the event, including Azad Mirzaliyev, Namig Mikailov, Islam Eyvazov, Sevil Isayeva, Ramin Mirzaliyev, Ikram Babayev, Aghalar Mirzaliyev and others expressed gratitude to the President for the improvement work done in the region and villages, and for his care about agricultural producers. Citizens made proposals for the construction of a bridge on the Solguja-Mykhlygovag road and the construction of a new building for the medical center in the village. Then individual complaints of some residents were heard. Some of the appeals voiced at the reception meeting were resolved locally. To implement other proposals in accordance with the law, the head of the EPR gave appointments to the relevant officials.
