"Game Caravan" in Gabala.
With the organizational support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Federation of Children's Games and Sports Clubs of Turkey, the Federation of School Sports of Azerbaijan, the Volunteers of Azerbaijan Sports and the Good Friend project, the «Game Caravan in Azerbaijan» project has been started. In the framework of the “Game Caravan in Azerbaijan” project, covering 7 regions of the country, on October 20, 2019, about 200 children took part in the zonal stage held in the Gabala Olympic Complex. The event was attended by children from 8 to 12 years old from Gabala, Ismayilli, Shamakhi, Kurdamir, Goychay and Agdash regions. The head of the youth and sports department of the Gabala region, Fakhri Soltanov, speaking at the opening ceremony, said that the goal of the project is to please children, help strengthen friendly relations between our fraternal countries and achieve the popularity of sports, encouraging children with various exciting sports games. Matlab Karimov, director of the Gabala Olympic Sports Complex, said: “This project will strengthen friendship and brotherhood between children and adolescents in Azerbaijan and Turkey. Everyone grows playing these games. I think that in the coming years we will expand our activities. It will also lay the foundation for the further development of Turkish-Azerbaijani friendship”. Further, the event was continued by children's games. With fun and entertaining music, the children demonstrated their skills by participating in a variety of fun games. Children were given various gifts.
