A meeting with students participating in the tour-campaign took place.

On November 12, a meeting with schoolchildren and their entourage was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center as part of the “Learning our country” tour-campaign organized by the Gabala Region Executive Power. The event was attended by representatives of the public, teachers, schoolchildren and their parents, media representatives. Opening the event with an introductory speech, the deputy head of the Region Executive Power, Ataya Osmanova, greeted the participants of the tour-campaign and noted that for the sixth year there had been educational tours to various regions of our country under the slogan "Learning our country" for students in 9-11 grades of the secondary schools of Azerbaijan. Noting that the tour-campaigns, organized by the Presidential Administration on the recommendation of the Head of State Ilham Aliyev took a traditional nature, Ataya Osmanova emphasized that the main goal of the project is to introduce students to modern life, history, cultural heritage, traditions and customs inherent in the characteristics, achievements of independent Azerbaijan created by nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, to give young people a clear idea of the dynamic socio-economic development of our republic, of a renewed image of some cities and regions that are improving day by day, thanks to the determination and will of President Ilham Aliyev. In the tour-campaign in the southern region of the country - Lankaran, Masalli, Astara regions, to be held from November 13 to 16, 40 students are expected to participate, including winners of republican subject olympiads and active athletes. Speaking at the event, the teacher of the full secondary school No. 1 of Vandam village Ruslan Ismailov, the student of the city comprehensive secondary school No. 5 Seljan Rafizade and others thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the tour-campaign “Learning our country”. Finally, an excursion was organized for the participants in the exhibition hall of the Heydar Aliyev Center.
