A meeting was held with young people who had military service in the Gabala region.

The Gabala district branch of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a meeting with young people who completed military service. The meeting was attended by leaders of the district’s executive branch, law enforcement agencies, Karabakh war veterans, representatives of the education department, the chairman of the district council of elders and schoolchildren. First of all, the meeting participants laid flowers at the monument to the national leader Heydar Aliyev in the central park of the city and honored the memory of the great leader. The event, which continued at the Gabala Cultural Center, was opened by the head of the Gabala district department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, Colonel-Lieutenant Rahim Aghayev. After the National Anthem of the Azerbaijan Republic, a minute of silence was honored in memory of those who died for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country. The head of the department, Rahim Aghayev, congratulated the young people who had honorably completed military service and spoke about the successes achieved in the field of creating an army in our country thanks to the care of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. He noted that our army is the most powerful army in the South Caucasus in terms of its technical equipment and combat readiness. Ataya Osmanova, deputy head of the Gabala region’s executive power, Mushvig Abbasov, head of the Youth and Sport Department, Mehdi Hamidov, Karabakh war veteran, Nazim Mustafayev, chairman of the district council of elders, congratulated young people who exemplarily served in the army and left the reserve, and wished them success in their future lives. Speaking on behalf of the young people who have retired, Rahim Kerimov thanked the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev for the attention and care shown to the army and the young people who were transferred to the reserve. He noted that young people who have completed military service and have been transferred to the reserve are ready to call for the liberation of our occupied lands. The Gabala district department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription awarded young people who had exemplary service and were transferred to the reserve honorary diplomas and valuable gifts.
