The Gabala Children and Families Support Center organized an event titled "Drug addiction and elimination of its consequences."
On February 6, 2020, the Gabala Children and Families Support Center held an event “Drug addiction and elimination of its consequences” at the Gabala State Vocational Training Center. The event was attended by employees of the Gabala Children and Families Support Center, an employee of the Gabala Region Police Department, Azer Huseynov, as well as teachers and students of the Gabala State Vocational Training Center. During the event, it was said that humanity is still suffering from drug addiction, being one of the most important problems of our time, it is a threat to the healthy lifestyle of the nation and the physical and psychological destruction of a person. Drug addiction can lead to a weakening of the human body and a gradual physiologic failure. Then, the participants were informed that a legal base has been formed in the country to prevent the use and distribution of tobacco products and alcoholic beverages among minors. A number of preventive measures are being conducted. A video titled “Let's say no to drugs” was shown during the event. At the end of event, booklets were distributed to participants.
