Memorial ceremony was held in North-western regional centre of the Ministry of Emergency Situations related of the 28th anniversary of the Khojali genocide.

First of all, at the ceremony, the memory of the victims of the genocide, as well of our compatriots who fell martyrs on the way of the freedom of our people and the defence of our country, was honoured by a moment of silence. The speakers who spoke about the territorial claims, the policy of ethnic cleansing and the genocide of Armenians, implemented by them throughout history, said that Armenian nationalists began and continue to conduct ethnic cleansing policies against Azerbaijani people, as well entire Turkic world from the beginning of the 20th century. At the end of the event, the video about Khojali genocide was shown.
