This historical tragedy will not be forgotten
28 years have passed since the genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis in Khojali city of Nagorno-Karabakh, which is the ancestral lands of Azerbaijan. Related to the anniversary of this tragedy, the action plan was drawn up in Gabala region Educational Department. In accordance with the action plan, the event dedicated to Khojali tragedy was held in Gabala city complete secondary schools No. 1 and 2. At the event, a composition performed by the students dedicated to Khojali tragedy was demonstrated, video clip was shown. Employees of regional Heydar Aliyev Centre gave lectures related to the 28th anniversary of Khojali tragedy at the complete secondary school No. 4. The chess competition dedicated to Khojali tragedy was held in Mirzabayli village complete secondary school. At the “Round Table” held in Bunud village complete secondary school, history teacher Ulfat Azizov made a report, praised the genocide committed in Khojali as serious crime directed against humanity. In all the general education secondary schools and out-of-school organizations of the region, various events dedicated to Khojali tragedy were held. The events on Khojali tragedy held in secondary schools were attended by the head of regional educational department, Arifa Bayramova and other employees of educational department.
