Gabala region hosted the final round of the national subject olympiads.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), it was decided to hold the final round of the national subject olympiads for the 2019-2020 academic year in zonal centers, rather than in Baku. The Senior Secondary School No.5 named after Sh.Bulgadirov in Gabala city was selected as one of these centers. On June 9th, the final stage of the National Subject Olympiads in chemistry, biology, Azerbaijani language and literature, history and geography was held at the Senior Secondary School No. 5 named after Sh.Bulgadirov. 53 students from Gabala, Ismayilli, Oghuz, Sheki, Gakh, Balakan, Aghsu, Goychay, Aghdash and Zagatala regions participated in the final round of the subject olympiads. In order to ensure the participants' safety and health, all preventive measures against coronavirus and disinfection works had been carried out in the center. First, the students' body temperature was checked. Following that, they were allowed to participate in the olympiad.
