Employees of the Gabala Region Executive Power and the Region Police Unit continue to educate the population about coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Due to non-compliance with the requirements and isolation recommendations established after the gradual easing of the special quarantine regime rules applied by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Azerbaijan, there is a threat of an increase in the number of people infected with this infection in the region. In this regard, Gabala Region Executive Power has strengthened measures according to the rules established by the Operational Headquarters. The created mobile groups together with the Police Unit employees monitor compliance with the requirements for public catering, public transport, various spheres of trade and services. The extensive propaganda and awareness raising works are conducted among the population on the prohibition of mourning ceremonies, except for funerals, the importance of using certain respiratory protection equipment (medical masks, fabric masks, respirators, etc.) in public places in conditions of social distance (the distance between people to be 1.5 - 2 meters).
