Gabala schoolchildren were awarded gold and bronze medals.
In order to identify talented students, enhance interest in their in-depth study of subjects, as well as evaluate the knowledge and skills of students who have distinguished themselves with diligence, the Ministry of Education annually conducts academic competition in 8 subjects. During the 2019-2020 school year, 552 students participated in the region stage of the academic competition, 98 of them were eligible to participate in the zonal stage. In the intense knowledge competition, 8 Gabala schoolchildren received pass to the national tour. Due to the current situation, the final stage was held in the regions for the first time. On June 9th during competition in Gabala 4 students were awarded medals, namely the student of 11th form of senior secondary school No.1 of Vandam settlement Asgarli Zeynab was awarded a gold medal for the Azerbaijani language, the student of 11th form of the senior secondary school of Nokhurgishlag village Masimov Ismail - bronze medal in chemistry, the student of 11th form of the senior secondary school of Mamayli village Adilova Khalida - bronze medal in biology, the student of 11th form of the senior secondary school of Nokhurgishlag village Abushova Maleyka - bronze medal in geography.
