The Azerbaijani Army is ready and able to fulfill any task set by the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, including the liberation of our lands from occupation.

Strengthening of the international positions of Azerbaijan, diplomatic successes of our country, substantial support of the initiatives put forward by our head of state in the international arena, including creating of a great resonance of the Non-Aligned Movement Summit meeting, chaired by our country, adoption of the decision to hold a special session of the UN General Assembly at the initiative of Azerbaijan is a serious concern for the Armenian lobby, foreign pro-Armenian circles and foreign forces that do not like Azerbaijan. Those forces resort to military provocations to weaken Azerbaijan. The Armenian government makes various attempts to create chaos. With the next provocation, it aims to divert the attention of the international community from current issues to a different direction and reduce serious tensions observed within the country. Nicole Pashinyan is aware that the people are gradually turning their backs on him and he is deprived of the opportunity to solve the people’s problems. He wants to divert the people’s attention from internal problems by committing military provocations on the border with Azerbaijan. Serious socio-economic problems, corruption, countless problems in the fight against coronavirus, suppression of human rights and freedoms, repressions against political opponents, free speech put the Pashinyan government in a very difficult situation. The provocation on the border with Azerbaijan is aimed at raising the issue of foreign enemies of the Pashinyan government and removing the problems created by its incompetent administration. Pashinyan believes that in exchange of an external threat, it will be possible to control the society, disarm the opposition and eliminate the serious threat formed against the government. But he is wrong. Just as the destruction of the Armenian attack by the Azerbaijani Army in April 2016 and the crushing blow to the Armenian army made loose Serzh Sargsyan’s government and destroyed it shortly after, the Pashinyan government will live the same destiny. Currently, the situation in Armenia is very complicated, the process of unification of the opposition against the government is underway. There is no reason to think that Pashinyan’s attempts to solve the problem with such provocations will yield any results. Military provocations bring the end of his governance even closer. The Armenian government, which failed again, still tries to hide the essence of the issue and confuse the international and local community with false information. The fabrications of the Armenian government and the concealment of information about the deaths in the direction of Tovuz caused serious dissatisfaction in the Armenian public. Protests have already begun in Armenia, and activists are seriously criticizing the Armenian government on social networks. Pashinyan is accused of massacring Armenian soldiers for his own political purposes. The Pashinyan government is trying to spread another lie among the people to calm them. Allegedly, they are repeating the lie that they have seized the position of Azerbaijani military units. Claims that the Armenian government allegedly seized the position of Azerbaijani military units and occupied new heights are nothing but lies and misinformation. Even the public and active social network users in this country treat such claims with irony. They no longer believe in Pashinyan’s lies. Serious socio-economic crisis, corruption, numerous problems in the fight against coronavirus, and serious shortcomings in the protection of human rights and freedoms made it completely impossible for the Pashinyan government to gain time through such provocative steps, including this year’s fake “elections” in the occupied territories. The July 12 provocation can be called the last unfulfilled hope of the Armenian Prime Minister. Large-scale military operations, which stand like a sword of Damocles over the region, are becoming more and more a real threat every day. The only effective way to eliminate the threat is to ensure the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the territorial integrity, sovereignty and internationally recognized borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the unconditional and complete withdrawal of the occupying troops from the territory of Azerbaijan. The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries must accept this reality and appeal to the occupying Armenia with the same call. Today, again, the call of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries on the parties to adhere to the ceasefire is nothing but another meaningless and “toothless” statement, which does not serve to ensure the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and end the occupation. Therefore, all the responsibility for the subsequent actions rests with the occupying Armenia and its defenders. The action happened on July 12 was met with outrage by the Azerbaijani public. There are calls on social networks to launch military operations, to gather ordinary citizens and go to the frontline, to take up arms and liberate our lands from occupation. This demonstrates the high level of patriotism in Azerbaijani society. But it is not the early 1990s now that the citizens are forced to defend our lands on their own, as there is no regular army. Today, Azerbaijan has a strong regular army equipped with modern weapons and equipment. This army is able to respond to any provocation of the enemy and liberate our lands. We rely on our army. Undesirable chaotic initiatives can only please our enemies and allow them to expand their fabrications about our country and our armed forces. Therefore, the calls of some social network users to take up arms and go to the frontline, the attempts of individuals to organize a march to the frontline are inadmissible and unacceptable. Today, Azerbaijan has a strong army, and the Azerbaijani Army is ready and able to fulfill any task set by the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, including the liberation of our lands from occupation.
