Raids are continuing in the region to ensure strict compliance with the requirements of the quarantine regime.
On August 12, 2020, the raids were continued in Gabala to protect the residents' health in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, and to prevent the spread of infection and its possible consequences. During the raid, educational conversations were held with citizens. It was recommended to wear a medical mask protecting the respiratory tract in closed facilities, especially at trade and public catering facilities, to maintain a social distance when contacting people, and strictly observe the rules established for the quarantine period by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan in general. Within the day, an inspection was carried out at 51 trade and 56 other facilities most visited by citizens. For violating the quarantine rules, 2 residents of Baku and 1 resident of Sumgayit were fined 200 AZN, 1 employee of a public catering facility was fined 100 AZN under the corresponding article of the Code of Administrative Offences. Educational events and raids are continued on the territory of the region.
