Raids are continuing in Gabala to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).
On August 13, 2020, mobile groups operating in the region continued to conduct raids to study the compliance of trade, public catering and other facilities most visited by residents with the rules established due to the special quarantine regime introduced on the territory of the Republic and to take the necessary measures. In accordance with the requirements and recommendations of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, employees at all facilities were provided with detailed information on the observance of social distance, sanitary and hygienic rules and the need to use medical masks. During the day, 48 trade and 53 other facilities were inspected. The families of 1 deceased was issued a warning in connection with carried out funeral ceremony. For violating the quarantine rules, 4 minibus drivers and 1 employee of a catering facility were fined 100 AZN each under the corresponding article of the Code of Administrative Offences. Raids by mobile groups and educational work among the population continue on a regular basis.
