Measures to combat the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) are continuing in Gabala.
On November 10, 2020, mobile groups operating in the region conducted raids to study the compliance of trade, public catering and other facilities most visited by residents with the rules established due to the special quarantine regime introduced on the territory of the Republic and to take the necessary measures. In accordance with the requirements and recommendations of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, employees at all facilities were provided with detailed information on the need to comply with social distance, sanitary and hygienic rules and to wear medical masks. During the day, 75 trade and 72 other facilities were inspected. The families of 2 deceased were issued a warning in connection with carried out funeral ceremony. For violating the quarantine rules, 3 residents of the region, 1 employee of a trade facility and 1 employee of an automobile-repair station were fined 100 AZN each under the corresponding article of the Code of Administrative Offences. Raids of mobile groups and educational work among the population will continue.
