Opening of the road to Shusha, Karabakh’s crown jewel, is an important event.

Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited liberated from occupation Jabrayil and Fuzulu cities just 6 days after the victory of November. This visit was historical. After 28 years, Azerbaijan both liberated Karabakh and owned Karabakh. It demonstrated once again that Karabakh is Azerbaijan and no one could own, possess it except its owner thereafter. We experience the continuation of 44-days historical Second Homeland War, subsequent victories that we got on those days, November 8 Shusha victory and November 10 gorgeousness – the next splendor and pride. Azerbaijan came back to its Karabakh, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Khudafarin as a winner. During the war, both President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva regularly met our wounded soldiers and officers, the families of martyrs and veterans, took consideration of their all concerns and issues and showed that they would always be with them. The attention paid by the military personnel during the visit of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of our Glorious Army to the liberated districts once again proves that along with our iron fist, our iron will and our persistent belief played a great role in our victory in the war. The foundation of the Fuzuli-Shusha highway is a historic day. This road is of great importance. Because this road leads us to the city of Shusha, the crown of Karabakh. After Shusha's liberation, the enemy realized that there was completely no point in resisting us. One day after Shusha's liberation, the heroic Armed Forces of Azerbaijan liberated more than 70 settlements from the occupiers, which was the last blow to the enemy. As the Supreme Commander-in-Chief said it is no coincidence that on November 10, the enemy signed a capitulation act. Shusha's liberation showed our strength, our Army's professionalism, and our servicemen's courage and heroism. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, who just a few months ago visited the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, held a swearing-in ceremony of the so-called regime in Shusha and danced in a drunken state, is in a desperate situation today, looking for a place to hide from the eyes of his people's angry people. During these 44 days, the Armenian people saw how weak and powerless their prime minister was. In addition to the occupying country, as well as the whole world witnessed that the real owners of the lands returned. President Ilham Aliyev: "Today we have already started development work. 8 days after the Victory Day and 6 days after Armenia's capitulation, the construction of the Fuzuli-Shusha highway begins from here – from the settlement of Alkhanli. This road will be very comfortable and broad. This road will allow us the opportunity to get to Shusha and back quite effortlessly. We will restore all this, restore everything. The people of Azerbaijan will show their greatness yet again. We will prove to the whole world that we are a great nation. We are back, we have returned by fighting. No-one has handed these lands to us. No international organization has put pressure on the aggressor. No-one demanded that they implement UN Security Council resolutions. Their goal was simply to keep the conflict in a neither-war-nor-peace status, to keep everything in a frozen state, to perpetuate the occupation, to erase the historical heritage in our lands, to Armenianize our lands, to give our cities and villages their ugly Armenian names and erase this issue from the memory of the Azerbaijani people. But they were wrong. I have repeatedly said that we will never put up with this occupation", President reconfirmed our return with his statements. Azerbaijan liberate its eternal and everlasting lands. The visit of the winner country's Victorious Commander to those lands to stamp on the achieved victory proved that the people and President of Azerbaijan were not scared of no one and nothing. We are the winners! Victory is ours!
