The upcoming target of the state policy on healthcare is to improve, modernize the healthcare system and increase the quality of medical services.

Our fund of hospitals and medical institutions meet the highest standards. The main reason for it was the projects conducted by Mr. Ilham Aliyev in this direction from the first day of his presidency, putting forward the thesis “Let’s turn “black gold” into human capital”. As stressed by your respected President, although capacity of our “black gold” was not enough, but we knew that great oil production period expects Azerbaijan. It was like this. Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil and gas projects in 2006 and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum in 2007 became a reality. Oil revenues were aimed at human capital. Of course, it is important to increase citizen satisfaction for achieving objectives properly and ensuring continuous development. In turn, it makes it a requirement for government officials to perform their duties appropriately. Our President always demanded it from the officials: State interests must precede everything; government officials must live for the people; care for their problems and remember the responsibility sense. The thoughts of our Head of State like “I have declared Shusha the cultural capital, not the capital of officials” are the strict message for some officials seeking their own and group benefits from building and construction works launching in our liberated territories. It is certain that a special representative of the President will be assigned to these territories according to the Presidential Decree. An institution has already been established in Shusha which is considered the heart of Karabakh. Destroyed cities will be restored in a planned manner soon to ensure the comfort of the people who will return there, and to demonstrate the power of modern, strong Azerbaijan to the whole world.
