A meeting was held in Gabala on the declaration of autumn crops in the Electronic Agricultural Information System (EAIS)
On December 02, 2021, a seminar was held at Gabala Region’s Executive Power with the participation of the Head of the Office of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Head of the Gabala Region’s Executive Power, representatives of the administrative territorial district and mayors. Speaking at the seminar, Head of the Office of the Ministry of Agriculture Rafail Guliyev noted that the timely declaration of autumn crops in the Electronic Agricultural Information System allows to complete monitoring promptly, transfer subsidies in the first months of the year, and the farmer who receives the subsidy at the beginning of the year is able to use the funds on his/her card more efficiently, and stated that the Ministry of Agriculture therefore calls on farmers to declare their croppings without waiting for the deadline, and thus to benefit from state support sooner. Then extensive information has been provided to the participants about the provisions of the decision of the Agricultural Subsidy Council on cropping, yield and seed ratios in the field of crop production for 2022, the need for agrochemical analysis, mobile fertilizer sale, the benefits of insurance for farmers in accordance with regulations established, innovations to be applied in the subsidy issuance process from the next year. The questions of the seminar participants on the procedure of activating the electronic cabinet in EAIS, the sequence of data entry were answered in detail and the suggestions made were registered.
