A meeting on the creation of the "Information system of the electronic cadastral land registration" was held in Gabala.

In accordance with the instructions given by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev in connection with the creation of electronic cadastral land registration system in the country and the "Action Plan on the relatively phased maintenance of the creation of electronic cadastral land registration system and preparation of digital cadastral maps up to 2020, by conducting the electronic recording and mapping of the lands of all categories that are in state, municipal, and private property", according to the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers dated on April 28, 2016, the State Committee on Property Issues in Gabala region organized event dedicated to the educational work, under the title of the creation of "Information system of the electronic cadastral land registration". The Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev opened the meeting, which was attended by the representatives of the region executive powers and administrative-territorial districts, the heads of local municipalities, institutions, enterprises and organizations, welcoming the participants of the event, he told them about the importance of the organized activity. It was noted that as a result of the work of the "information system of the electronic cadastral land registration", the regulation of all the land matters, effective decision-making in the direction of the resolution of a number of existing problems will be provided. Then, the Head of the Service of Cadastre and Address Register of Immovable Property under the State Committee on Property Issues Ramiz Guliyev, in his speech brought to the attention that the main purpose of the event is the informing by the State Committee on Property Issues of the public on the work done in the field of study of spatial conditions of the territories for the creation of the automated electronic cadastral land registration system and the data bank, as well as the information system of address register, taking into account both quantitative and qualitative indicators of the lands of all categories available in the state, municipal and private property, as well as carrying out works on land management and surveying of special purpose (industry) and land management on a scientific basis. It was brought to attention that through the creation of an information system of the electronic cadastral land registration, the land management issues, preparation of the land balance, the preparation of the proposals for a more efficient use of land, and the provision of subsidies to owners and users of land will be in the spotlight in the country. During the event a presentation was shown dedicated to the creation of the Electronic cadastral land registration system and preparation of the digital cadastral maps. The participants of the meeting were informed about the work done visually by means of maps. In conclusion, the organizers answered the questions of interest to the participants.
