Schoolchildren of our country's western region visited Gabala within the project "Learning our country".

The next educational tour-campaign entitled "Learning our country" started for the pupils of IX-XI classes of cities and regions of our country. Schoolchildren, taking the road by modern buses from Ganja and Shamkir, as well as Goygol, Samukh and Gadabay regions to participate in the tour-campaign on the route Gabala-Shaki-Zagatala-Gabala, arrived in Gabala region on March 16 in the afternoon. The students were warmly greeted by the representatives of the Region Executive Power and the education department in front of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Gabala city, they were given information about the history, geographical location, culture and tourism potential of Gabala. As students, accommodated in the hotel "Qafqaz Karvansaray" in Gabala city, were informed in accordance with the program of the tour-campaign from March 16 to 19 they will get acquainted with the works carried out in the social and economic development of Gabala region, with social facilities built in recent years, recreation and entertainment centers, cultural and historical monuments, tourist sites, museums. As part of the tour-campaign, schoolchildren joined the tree planting campaign under the slogan "A Tree Per Person" in Gabala city. During the campaign on gardening schoolchildren planted more than 250 ash trees and birches. Then the participants of the project had tour over the region sights, they visited Nohur lake and the zoo, located in Yengija village. After the walk, the participants of the tour-campaign together with the heads of the Gabala Region Executive Power, law enforcement bodies, institutions and organizations watched the performance based on the work of Isi Malikzade entitled "Let's Become Relatives", performed by the actors of the "National Theater", acting in the Gabala Culture Center.
