Educational tours-campaigns arranged under the slogan “Learning our country” in Gabala is going on.

The members of 5 groups composed of schoolchildren of Tovuz, Gazakh, Goychay, Dashkasan, Aghstafa participating in tour-campaign familiarized with historical monuments, modern manufacturing institutions, tourism, culture and sport facilities on March 24, in Gabala, one of the beautiful places of Azerbaijan. The Schoolchildren visited Heydar Aliyev Center and familiarized with the photos and documents expressing the life and political activities of the Great Leader.The next address of 225 schoolchildren was “Tufandag” Winter-Summer Recreational Complex within the visit to Gabala. Pupils viewed a charming natural landscape from the height using the rope road and took a memorial photos. Participants of tour-campaign familiarized with and were informed about Heydar Aliyev Congress Center. Then in the Local History Museum pupils were informed about the history, culture and ethnography of Gabala that had been the capital of Caucasian Albania for 900 years. The next address of participants was “Beltmann” piano factory within the visit to Gabala. It was noted that the world-famous “Beltmann” pianos were produced in that factory. The factory has the capacity to produce 1200-1500 pianos per a year. The pupils travelled to Nij settlement and here “Chotari” Albanian Udi church caused great interest among the participants. It was informed that the church was one of the most ancient and important historical monuments. Moreover, pupils visited Chukhur Gabala Historical and Cultural Reserve and were informed about the ruins of the ancient city of Gabala and the results of archaeological excavations in the territory, as well as, with the examples of material culture of Gabala Archaeological Center. It was noted that Gabala, one of the most ancient cities of Azerbaijan, has a very rich history. At the end of the visit to Gabala, pupils learnt about “Gilan” food town, 5-stars “Qafqaz Riverside”, “Qafqaz Resort”, “Qafqaz Yeddi Gözəl”, “Qafqaz Yengicə Termal Hotel və SPA”, “Qafqaz Karvansaray” hotels, “Qəbələnd” Recreation and Entertainment Center, modern tourism infrastructure and beautiful nature of the region.
