“Learning our country” educational tours-campaigns that the students of IX-XI classes of city and region schools of our Republic participate in is going on.

The schoolchildren of Aghjabadi, Aghdam, Barda, Beylagan, Fuzuli and Imishli regions came to Gabala on March 25 within the tour-campaign. The representatives of Education Department and Executive Power of Region warmly welcomed the school children in front of Heydar Aliyev Center in the Gabala city. Then students were invited to join Novruz festivity arranged in Heydar Aliyev Park. Schoolchildren attended interesting exhibitions and concerts, and watched entertaining games. While the schoolchildren were on an excursion to the sightseeing of regions, historical places, manufacturing institutions and tourism facilities, group leaders emphasized that today Gabala was a bright example of socio-economic development. New-built manufacturing institutions, industrial and tourism infrastructure plays a crucial role in increasing dynamics of economic development in Gabala.The organization of international and large-scale events in Gabala reaffirms that this place is differentiated for its natural beauty and it is very important for international tourism. 270 members of 6 groups participating in tour-campaign were closely acquainted with Heydar Aliyev Center, “Tufandağ” Winter-Summer Recreational Complex, Heydar Aliyev Congress Center, Local History Museum, “Beltmann” piano factory, “Chotari” Albanian Udi church in Nij settlement, Gabala canning factory, Gabala Archaeological Center, Nohur Lake, "Seven Beauties" waterfall, “Qəbələnd” Recreation and Entertainment Center during the excursion. Pupils’ education was also of great importance along with their entertainment within the tour-campaign arranged in Gabala. At the end of the visit to Gabala pupils were familiarized with “5 stars” hotels and recreation centers, modern tourism infrastructure building in the region and beautiful nature of the region.
