In the comprehensive secondary schools and kindergartens of the region a series of events is held in connection with the Child Rights Month. The purposes of holding Child Rights Month are increasing attention to the children, and improving the status of the protection of children’s rights on the eve of the anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by the United Nations and November 20 - Universal Children's Day. Within the framework of the month, an interesting event devoted to the subject of children’s rights was held on November 3 in the Zaraghan Village Kindergarten. It was said to the participants during the event that the National Program for Action to Raise Effectiveness of the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms in the Republic of Azerbaijan confirmed by the Decree of the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, as well as the terms in regard with the protection of the rights of the child are being successfully carried out, and the month for rights of the child is celebrated every year in our country. It was also noted that the series of events dedicated to the Child Rights Month will be held in the region till November 20. Afterwards, the event continued with the artistic part prepared of children’s performances.
