A professional holiday of justice employees was celebrated.
The justice system in Azerbaijan has a rich history. The history of justice of our independent state dates back to the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1918. The Ministry of Justice was also established on May 28 of that year, and some resolutions on the activities of justice agencies and courts were adopted. Furthermore, the Regulations of the Court of Justice of Azerbaijan were approved on November 14, 1918, while the Regulations of the Ministry of Justice were approved on November 22 of the same year. Upon Azerbaijan regained its independence, some substantial actions were undertaken by national leader Heydar Aliyev in order to ensure that the justice agencies’ activities comply with the modern requirements, as well as the role and importance of the Ministry of the Justice in the society were enhanced. Under the Decree dated on November 11, 2000 of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, the professional holiday of justice employees is celebrated in our country on November 22 each year. To celebrate their professional holiday on this day, the justice employees of the region visited Heydar Aliyev Park in the center of the city, laid bunches of roses at the monument of Heydar Aliyev, and expressed their sincere respect and regard to such a genius person. Deputy Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Arif Allahverdiyev and the heads of the law enforcement agencies of the region took part in the ceremony.
