The meeting on the “Promotion of methane gas accumulation and its use as a renewable energy” was held.
According to “the Strategic Road Map of production and processing of agricultural products in Azerbaijan Republic” approved under the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the relevant tasks over the promotion of methane gas accumulation and its use as a renewable energy were conferred to the Ministry of the Ecology and Natural Resources and the Ministry of Agriculture, along with the local executive bodies. Regarding this matter, the meeting on promotion was held in Gabala on December 6. Within the event attended by administrative territorial representatives, chairpersons of the municipalities and local farmers, the Deputy Director of the National Department for Hydrometeorology of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Imran Abdulov, Head of Division of Center for Climate Changes and Ozone of the National Department for Hydrometeorology Jeyhun Hasanov and Deputy Head of the Department of Analysis and Forecasting of Social and Economic Development of the Gabala Region Executive Power Ramil Garibov have also participated. The official of the Gabala Region Executive Power Ramil Garibov opened the meeting which was held in the form of discussion. Imran Abdulov and Jeyhun Hasanov gave detailed information on the subject to the event attendees. Then the discussions were made with entrepreneurs, at the same time, some offers and the questions of their interests were responded.
