The development of the agricultural sector is in the spotlight.
As a result of increasing care and attention paid by the state to the development of the agricultural sector, Gabala region also experienced significant changes in the production of agricultural products. Due to significant increase of the recent interest in the production of agricultural products, fruit and vegetable growing in the region, along with the sale of agricultural products by the citizens to the processing enterprises operating in the region, participation in the agricultural sales fairs was organized in Baku. Thus, during 2017, at the agricultural fair, organized in the capital, the agricultural producers of the region provided 41.2 tons of pomaceous fruits, 27.4 tons of nucicultures and 6.5 tons of various vegetables to the population. At the fair, where all the conditions for the convenience of buyers and sellers were created, along with the quality of the products, an avoidance of artificial overpricing was under control.
