Martyr Garayev Mahammad Mahir was bid farewell to his last journey
On May 12, 2023, as a result of a provocation by the Armenian armed forces, Garayev Mahammad Mahir, a resident of the Gabala city, a soldier of the border troops, rose to the rank of martyrdom. The body of martyr Mahammad Garayev was brought to his hometown Gabala for burial. The heads of the district executive power, law enforcement agencies, the regional department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, employees of the State Border Service, departments, enterprises and organizations, members of the martyr’s family, comrades and representatives of the district public took part in the farewell ceremony for the martyr. After the burial of the martyr, bouquets of flowers were laid on his grave and prayers were read for his soul. The tricolor flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan on which Mahammad Garayev’s body was wrapped was handed over to the martyr’s father.
