The Gabala Treatment and Diagnostics Centre celebrated the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.
An event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic was held in the Gabala Treatment and Diagnostics Centre. Giving the opening speech, the Chief Physician Jeyhun Ahmadov recalled the decrees by the President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on the organization of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and on the announcement of 2018 as "the Year of Republic". Drawing attention to the signing of the Declaration of Independence on May 28, 1918, Jeyhun Ahmadov started his speech with the 23 months' glorious history and highlighted the great significance for nation-building of the establishment of army, parliament, media, law enforcement system, and nationalization of education. The chief physician noted that the souls of the founders of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic rejoice for protection of our independence and sovereignty and our country being a member of international community, possessing equal rights. Then Dr. Seymur Abdullayev, head of HR department, Mahir Karimkhanov and others gave speeches and expressed their opinions about the history of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and reviewed the history of the first democratic state in the Muslim East.
