An offsite meeting-reception was held in Tikanly village of the region.

The meeting, organized in a rural school on December 5, was attended by the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, senior officials of the administration of the Head of the Executive Power, heads of law enforcement agencies, institutions, enterprises and organizations, official spheres, as well as rural residents. The head of REP, who opened the meeting with an introductory speech, told about the rapid socio-economic development of our country, the existing socio-political stability, as well as social infrastructure projects, large-scale creative work and landscaping carried out in the Gabala region, as elsewhere in our republic in accordance with the instructions President Ilham Aliyev. The Head of the Regional Executive Power brought to the attention that after the meeting held last year, many improvement and creation works were carried out on the territory, as well as other settlements, Tikanly village was equipped with a stable connection and uninterrupted electricity. As reported, the recent surrender of the Nij-Myhlygovag-Yemishanly-Uludash-Tikanly-Abrykh asphalt road is a testament to the attention and care given to these settlements in recent years. It was stressed that all necessary measures are being taken to solve the problems in a timely manner. It was brought to the attention that in every settlement of the region, including Tikanly village, measures and infrastructure projects will be continued in the future, carried out in connection with the elimination of public concerns. Then the villagers were heard. In their speeches, they expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and care for the landscaping and construction works carried out in the country and the region. Along with this, they asked for help in laying a gas line to Tikanly village, building a bridge across the Bum River, as well as a concrete dam to protect the territory from mudflows, and to overhaul the rural high school. The Head of REP, who answered in detail the questions asked about the problems concerning the residents, instructed the relevant structures to address the issues raised.
