Schoolchildren of Gabala left Goygol region and Ganja city with affluent experience.
The schoolchildren of Gabala touring on the route of Ganja city, Shamkir, Goygol, Tovuz, Gazakh and Aghstafa within the framework of the educational tour-campaign held under the slogan of “Learning our country” for the 9th-11th grade pupils of the cities and regions of the republic became acquainted with Goygol region and Ganja city on March 24. The schoolchildren were welcomed by the representatives of the executive power of Goygol region, the culture and tourism department and the urban community in the city centre. The schoolchildren were provided with the information about the history and today of the region. The tour-campaign participants started the familiarization tour with the city from Heydar Aliyev Centre, in which they became acquainted with the life and activity of the great leader. Later on, the schoolchildren became familiar with the Flag square, Youth Centre, German church, History and ethnography museum, German houses, Hajikand settlement and Goygol national park in the region. In the second half of the day, the campaign participants visited Ganja city. The schoolchildren were welcomed in front of the Triumphal Arch and were provided with the detailed information about Ganja city by the representatives of the executive power of the region. Then the campaign participants became closely acquainted with the National Park named after Heydar Aliyev, Heydar Aliyev Centre, the walls of Old Fortress, the “Imamzada” Complex, the mausoleum of Nizami Ganjavi and the centre named after Nizami Ganjavi. The schoolchildren from Gabala region participated in the tree planting campaign held under the slogan of “Learning our country” within the framework of the educational tour-campaign. Thus, the visits of the pupils to Goygol region and Ganja city ended with affluent experience.
