An offsite meeting-reception of the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev with citizens took place in the Bum settlement.

The regular offsite meeting-reception of the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev was held in the Bum settlement. The meeting was attended by law enforcement officers, service managers and community representatives. At the event, the Head of REP spoke about the socio-economic development carried out in the country, as well as development and reconstruction works carried out in Gabala, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. It was noted that new industrial enterprises, social facilities and school buildings were built and put into operation in the region, gas pipelines, asphalt roads, new concrete dams, bridges were built, the sustainable provision of communications, electricity and gas was improved. During the reception meeting, it was noted that the Bum settlement did not stand aside against the background of the reconstruction work carried out in our region in recent years, a new kindergarten was built here, the building of the secondary school, the Gabala-Bum road was reconstructed and on the site of the water utility a single-span bridge was built on the territory of the settlement. Noting that the success achieved is primarily the result of the reforms undertaken by the Head of State in the social sphere, the Head of the Executive Power spoke about humanitarian projects being implemented in the country to improve the welfare and social condition of the population. Then at the meeting residents of the settlement were listened. They expressed deep appreciation to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for the construction and improvement works in the Bum settlement. The speakers Zahir Aslanov, Azar Afandiyev, Hikmat Abdullayev and others, asked to build a concrete dam on the bank of the Bum river, an additional modular building for the secondary school of the settlement and transfer the heating system to natural gas supply, replace the telephone and electric lines, drill 1 new artesian wells on the territory and repair the rest ones. Having completed the meeting, the head of REP gave instructions to the heads of the relevant structures regarding the implementation of the issues raised.
