The next meeting of the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev took place in Abrykh village, a remote village of the region. The meeting was attended by heads of law enforcement agencies, educational institutions, health care and other services of the region, representatives of the rural community. The head of the region’s executive authority welcomed the audience at the reception and spoke about the importance of meetings between senior officials and the population in accordance with the instructions of the President of the country. The Head of the REP noted that in recent years great successes have been achieved in our country in the socio-economic, socio-cultural spheres. According to the report of world-renowned rating agencies, Azerbaijan conquers ever higher levels in all sectors from year to year. Like every corner of our country, Gabala is in the foreground of this rise. The fact that Abrykh village was rapidly changing and ennobled in recent years also confirms this. Modern asphalt road and bridge were laid to this village, located 35 km from the center of the region. In the past, it was very difficult to get to this village. Especially as a result of floods during the spring and autumn months, the village’s connection with the adjacent settlements and the regional center was broken. Now the village is connected to the regional center by a modern road. The village has a new school building that meets modern requirements. Speaking from the residents of the village, Ali Mustafayev, Yahya Yahyaev, Samir Rafiyev, Adalat Taghiyev, Shair Abdullayev, Natig Zakaryayev and others expressed gratitude to the President of the country Mr. Ilham Aliyev for the care and attention given to landscaping works in our country and the region, as well as the long-awaited convenient road to Abrykh village. Residents of the village asked for assistance in supplying gas to the village, completing the reconstruction of power lines, improving the supply of drinking water and Internet access. The proposals of the meeting-reception participants were listened carefully, and measures were identified to address the issues raised.
