An event dedicated to the professional holiday of teachers took place.
An event was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center on the occasion of "October 5 - World Teachers' Day." Opening the event, the director of the Center, Kamala Gasimova, noted that World Teachers' Day - day of holders of the sacred profession who dedicate their lives to the bright future of the people, by decision of UNESCO, has been celebrating since 1966. It was noted that in our country, Teachers’ Day has been celebrated since 1993. “Each of us has a particle of the ardent heart of the teacher. I don’t know a more honorary title than the title of teacher," said once the national leader Heydar Aliyev; during his leadership the work of the teacher was highly appreciated, he treated them with great respect, took care of improving the material situation, welfare of educators. It was emphasized that the complex of measures implemented in our country in recent years in connection with the development of education, the inclusion of President Ilham Aliyev among the important principles of state policy of this factor, and comprehensive care for education workers indicate the determination of the state to see the future more reliable and confident. In recent years, in our country, as well as in our region, new schools and additional buildings have been built. Speakers at the event also congratulated teachers on their professional holiday.
