360 schoolchildren from 9 regions left Gabala region, bursting with impressions.

The next stage of educational tour-campaign under the slogan "Learning our country" has been successfully completed.
These tour-campaigns, being held for the sixth year in order to better study the history, culture, traditions and achievements of our country over the years of independence, are a clear example of the importance, care and attention given by the President of Azerbaijan to the education of the young generation in the spirit of love for the Motherland.
Under the project, groups consisting of students from 9 regions - Gazakh, Aghstafa, Tovuz, Gadabay, Shamkir, Samukh, Neftchala, Salyan and Hajigabul, starting their trip via the Gabala-Sheki-Zagatala route on November 18, completed their excursions on November 21, and went to their home regions from Gabala city. Excursions to the Heydar Aliyev Congress Center in Gabala, Tufandag Winter Summer Tourism Holiday Complex, to the cannery, the Chuhur Gabala Historical and Cultural Reserve, the Albanian-Udi Chotari church in Nij village, acquaintance with the Heydar Aliyev Center in Sheki, "Yukhary bash" State Historical and Architectural Reserve, one of the unique pearls of Azerbaijani architecture - the Sheki Khans' Palace, museums and craft workshops located in the reserve, aroused great interest among schoolchildren. The participants of the tour-campaign also familiarized themselves with the Heydar Aliyev Center in Zagatala, the Historical and Cultural Reserve, the Galaduzyu Staircase, Dede Gorgud Square, the Museum of Local History, and the production process at the hazelnut processing plant, and visited the sights of the city.
In the evening of November 20, the participants of the tour-campaign demonstrated their knowledge and skills in the “What? Where? When?" intellectual game. According to the results of the competition, students of Hajigabul received the title of winners of the intellectual game. Representatives of the Neftchala and Salyan regions took second and third places respectively. Winners were awarded with cups, medals and certificates.
