Complete isolation on weekends is aimed at preserving the health of the citizens.

The government of Azerbaijan implemented very successful policy related to the measures on the fighting against the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). The work done, reduced the influence of the infection to a certain extent, and the spread of the pandemic in the country was brought under control. However, in recent days, non-compliance by the people with this process has already contributed to very serious consequences, and the number of infected people has reached a high limit. Gabala residents also support the decision of Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers related to complete isolation on weekends, and they know that this timely decision is aimed at preserving the health of citizens. This successful step serves the health of the citizens of the country. The fact that the isolation lasts only 2 days a week, the availability of sufficient food supplies in the country, as well the organization of manufacturing masks and medical alcohol in the Republic of Azerbaijan serves to the absence of any worries of our citizens. Tightening the quarantine regime in the regions of the country on Saturday and Sunday is a requirement of the day. Everyone should understand that the consequences of wrong application of mitigation measures lead to even greater restrictions. In Gabala region, as in other regions, some people recently did not use masks, did not observe social distance, and did not even believe in the pandemic. And the irresponsible behaviour of such people is great danger to society as a whole. There should be public condemnation among the citizens of those who do not comply with the rules of the quarantine regime. There is a necessity to apply and tighten the quarantine regime even in the coming months. Passing this stage of our society, at least, makes it possible to control the process of the pandemic in the future. Because the virus vaccine has not yet been invented. That is why, people should be aware of the responsibility that they bear in this regard. Otherwise, this pandemic will always be near us.
