The history of the independence of Armenia is basically a history of shame and dictatorship.

It is impossible to find any fact in the history of the independence of Armenia that can coincide with the concepts of civilized, legal state. This is the history of shame, rich in political terror, mass murder, corruption, robbery and other serious crimes. Great part of serious criminal cases initiated in Armenia in recent years consists in the criminal actions of persons who represent political power in this country and those who lead the army. Today, there is a dictatorship in Armenia. Political power tries to destroy its opponents and take over their business in different ways. The politicians who criticize Armenian government are persecuted, criminal cases are initiated against them, they are put in prison, and they are encouraged to commit a suicide. In this country, organization of attacks on media offices, beating of journalists, and restriction of freedom of assembly in the most terrible ways have become common phenomenon. However, along with this, the Council of Europe, the OSCE Media Freedom office, and human rights organizations do not see increasingly oppressive actions of dictatorial regime in Armenia. Since today the persons represented in the leadership of occupying country are their own "offspring", they are created from political business that seeks to drown the world in bloody revolutions, numerous projects of financial circles. As the President Ilham Aliyev noted, in the post-Soviet space, in the Middle East, and in the Mediterranean basin, the patrons of current Armenian leaders are those who organize "revolutions", which, in fact, are bloody coups. The President Ilham Aliyev, taking part in the opening of the "N" military unit of the Ministry of Defence, said that Armenian presidents are grafters, their generals are thieves, and heroes are criminals: "Armenia has been in deep crisis for several years. We can say that the history of the independence of Armenia is basically a history of shame. Since current government has repeatedly stated and proved that the people who led Armenia from 1998 to 2018 are criminals, thieves and robbers. The history of Armenia is indeed full of the shame. World historians know from the migration of Armenians to our lands in the XIX century, from Ararat Republic created on the territory of Azerbaijan at the beginning of the XX century, what shame their history of "statehood" is rich in. By creating false, so-called history, they also show that even the history of their independence is made up." Armenia falsifies toponyms on occupied lands, destroys our cultural monuments and mosques. However, current territory of Armenia is also historical Azerbaijani lands. International organizations are to unequivocally respond to this matter and put an end to the occupation. In particular, the OSCE Minsk group co-chairs are to respond to illegal settlement of occupied Azerbaijani territories by Armenia. As the head of state noted, Azerbaijan firmly stands by its position in connection with the conflict and will back down not a bit. International organizations now especially emphasize the principle of territorial integrity. The principle of territorial integrity exceeds the principle of determining the fate of people. The creation of the second Armenian state on Azerbaijani lands will not be allowed. Azerbaijan will liberate its lands from the occupation and restore its territorial integrity by peaceful means, through the negotiations, and if it is not possible, then by any means. Political opponents of the government in Armenia are persecuted, arrested, and illegal changes are made to the Constitution. The division of power has been completely violated in Armenia, and power has already been in the hands of one person. Corruption, robbery, bribery, and settlement of the problems by relationship have become widespread in Armenia. The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan himself and his family are engaged in smuggling. Criminal cases are initiated against rich businessmen, after which they are forced to transfer money to specially created foundation. Money from this foundation is also withdrawn and embezzled. As the President Ilham Aliyev noted, today the Prime Minister of Armenia and his close ones have become a symbol of the bribery. The regime headed by Pashinyan today tries to keep power in his hands in different ways. In fact, Armenia is run by the circles abroad, by foundations, through these people." Neither international organizations, nor the Council of Europe, the OSCE Media Freedom office take any action, even in connection with the suppression of freedom of speech and expression, arrest of opposition leaders, illegal actions, or death of a journalist on hunger strike. Why? Because they know who current leaders of Armenia are. Armenia has become not a state, but simply means in the hands of certain external forces. Different experiments are being conducted in this country at different times. Armenia has no prospects for development, the country is not able to support itself and protect its borders. In Armenia, they are not able to build the economy correctly, they live in poverty, only on loans. There is demographic crisis in Armenia, people leave the country, and there is natural decline. Real population of Armenia is less than 2 million people. Today, Azerbaijan is several times superior to Armenia both in terms of economic, military structure, and international prestige, and the difference between them is growing over time. And the mighty Azerbaijan will definitely liberate occupied lands. The President of Azerbaijan noted that the division of power in Armenia is completely violated, legislative power, executive power, judicial and legal sphere have already been in the hands of one person, it is an instrument, that is why there is a dictatorship in Armenia, and the longer this continues, the faster the problems will reach there crisis limits. The head of state, Ilham Aliyev, emphasized that without a solution to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, that is, until Armenia leaves occupied Azerbaijani lands, there will be no positive progress in the region, and Azerbaijan will fight for its national interests to the last. At the same time, noting that justice in this struggle is on the side of Azerbaijan, the President Ilham Aliyev told the world that Azerbaijan will not back down from its principled position both in the process of negotiations and in other processes taking place in the region.
