Sweeps are continued in connection with the special quarantine regime in the country.
On July 9, 2020, sweeps were continued in the region to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection and its potential consequences. Mobile teams established by the Operational Headquarters and operating in the Gabala region conducted sweeps to assess compliance with the rules in public catering, shopping and other facilities of the region, and to take measures in connection with the special quarantine regime in the country. During the sweeps, citizens were once again explained the need to wear medical masks and observe social distance. During the day, 64 shopping and 73 other objects were inspected. 1 resident of the Gabala Region, 1 resident of the Vandam settlement were fined 100 AZN each, 1 resident of the Nohurgyshlag settlement was fined 200 AZN under the corresponding article of the Code of Administrative Offenses. Mobile groups continue daily sweeps and awareness-raising work among the population.
