Despite the provocations committed on our borders, the victory is and will be ours. We will definitely win.

Increasing of the prestige of Azerbaijan in the world, strengthening of its international positions create jealousy in the hateful Armenia and seriously worries it. Diplomatic successes of our country, substantial support of the initiatives put forward by our President in the international arena, including creating of a great resonance of the Non-Aligned Movement Summit meeting, chaired by our country, adoption of the decision to hold a special session of the UN General Assembly at the initiative of Azerbaijan is a serious concern for foreign forces that do not like Azerbaijan, especially Armenia. The President Ilham Aliyev’s exposure of Armenia’s occupation policy and fascist face at the plenary session of the 16th annual meeting of the Valday International Discussion Club in Sochi, the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of States in Ashgabat held in a limited format, the Munich Security Conference, adoption of fair decisions by the world’s leading international organizations on the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh put foreign pro-Armenian circles and the Armenian government in serious trouble, exposed their inner faces and introduced them to the world. On July 12, 2020, the Armenian armed forces once again resorted to provocation, trying to seize our positions on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border in the direction of Tovuz, and attempted to attack using artillery fire. Unfortunately, at a time when the coronavirus pandemic is raging all over the world, the hateful enemies still did not give up their dirty deeds. However, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces gave a worthy response to the enemy and will continue to do so. Our army is conducting heavy operations face to face with the enemy. Our army is strong, equipped with the latest weapons, and the fighting spirit is high. We are all watching this with great enthusiasm. The Azerbaijani armed forces control the operative condition, strictly respond and will respond to the provocations of Armenia. Today, Azerbaijan has a strong army. The Azerbaijani Army is ready and able to fulfill any task set by the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, including the liberation of our lands from occupation. We witnessed this in the battles of April 2016. President Ilham Aliyev’s response to this provocation was decisive: “We will show the enemy its place again.” The videos released by the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan show that a large number of manpower and equipment of the opposite side were destroyed by a powerful blow to the enemy positions. The Armenian leadership is fully responsible for the current situation. The international community must strongly condemn Armenia’s occupation policy against Azerbaijan and the provocations it committed on the border. Today, every citizen of Azerbaijan understands that in the current complex historical situation, the only force we can rely on to restore the territorial integrity of our country is the Azerbaijani Army. Our army is and will always be strong. Its strength is primarily in the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, officers and soldiers. Our victories in the battles in the direction of Tovuz will lead to further victories. As the Supreme Commander-in-Chief stated, the war is not over yet. We must soon turn the Motherland into a place of honour and pride with our triumphal victories. This is required by the holy spirit of our martyrs. May God bless the souls of all our martyrs! The combat part of the war is conducted by the army. We, as soldiers, must conduct the ideological side of it. We must be sensitive and defend the official positions of the state. We believe that we will definitely win.
