The President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev gave an interview to German ARD TV channel on November 02 and stressed that provocations of Armenia against Azerbaijan was regular and purposeful. First military provocation was in July, the second in August, the third in September 27. 2465 houses, 97 apartment buildings and 455 civilian facilities were made useless, 91 civilians were killed and 404 were wounded as a result of heavy artillery shelling of settlements by the Armenian side. Armenia was always against a peaceful settlement of the dispute. Armenia was always interested in continuing of battle by shelling the cities which situated far beyond the line of contact and damaging civilian infrastructure although Azerbaijan supports a ceasefire. The fact that three times Azerbaijan agreed for ceasefire demonstrates its will to stop military confrontation and to resolve this issue on the negotiation table by political purposes, political means. All their behavior on negotiation table was an attempt to mislead the mediators and Azerbaijan. The UN Security Council and UN General Assembly, European Parliament, PACE, OSCE and other international organizations adopted many decisions and resolutions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. Based on these documents the fact of occupation of Azerbaijani territories was recognized, unconditional withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from occupied territories was demanded. However, no progress had been made on the conflict settlement until now and overt indifference for this issue is observed in the international organizations. Emerging the conflict as frozen satisfied the international mediators, but co-chairs of Minsk Group had to put a sanction on Armenia. If serious sanctions against Iraq were opposed to Armenia, then they would have moved the forces back. Azerbaijan is already effectuating the UN Security Council decisions and resolutions for more than one month. Courage and determination of the Azerbaijani Army to restore historical justice clarified a question that in which position of the states against our country so far, first and foremost who was sincere and objective in the relations. It is sufficient to pay attention to the interviews of our Head of State for foreign media. The history and law lessons of President Ilham Aliyev, who answered questions arising from the bias, ignorance of history and law of TV channels and other media outlets, and most importantly against the Armenian tendencies, diplomatically, patiently and discreetly, based on historical facts, once again prove the advantage of Azerbaijan not only on the battlefield, but also on the media front. A number of international legal protection organizations clarify the events only on the Armenian side. Therefore, the position taken by international legal protection organizations, including “Amnesty International”, “Human Rights Watch” and many international organizations critical of Azerbaijan recently, the fact again to act as double standards is compelled attention. Mr. President persistently invited the mentioned organizations which do not want visiting Azerbaijan. After learning the situation just on the spot, “Amnesty International” and “Human Rights Watch” approved that Armenia has shelled on Barda with cluster bombs which of use were prohibited, those organizations reported about it and that’s praiseworthy. International courts may be applied based on those reports. This is diplomatic victory. For some reason or other ARD correspondent missed the fact which “Amnesty International” and “Human Rights Watch” approved the shelling of Armenia on Barda with cluster bombs. Journalists from Western leading mass media ask questions which addressed to Mr. President as prosecutor’s arrogance; don’t precise facts, act as Cristian fanatic; try to joust with his/her colloquist. Such interviews demonstrate the prejudice of those mass media and being of them far from professional journalism. In response to a journalist's question about the political situation and democracy in Azerbaijan, Mr. President said: “Political system and democracy are efficient in Azerbaijan. We launched a kind of a new process of political cooperation before the parliamentary elections. We launched a modern, new political process”. As President said, a public appeal to all political parties was made to start practical cooperation at the initiative of him, 50 of 52 political parties supported it, and only two of them did not respond the call. A political dialogue environment exists in Azerbaijan. Nobody indicted politically were arrested. Azerbaijani economic performance during the pandemic is normal. Our economy declined only 3.9 percent. Azerbaijan has hot currency reserves which exceed our foreign debt 6 times. Economic indicators are the best one in the region; social indicators are even much better than some European countries. Expressing an opinion that countries which pretend to be an example for democracy, but killed protesters, President Ilham Aliyev emphasized: “In Europe you beat protesters, you beat them by forces. You bring dogs and this is considered democracy. More than 10 people killed during yellow-vest protests”. We can evolve it a bit while explicating President’s response. 26 people have lost their eyes, 5 people’s hands have been broken out and 2200 were various degrees of bodily injured. “Euronews” says the French police are well-heeled organization in Europe. They are provided with fireworks, weapons which are used in the battles by other countries. According to another research, more than 12,000 acts of violence against protesters and passers-by have been reported in Germany within a year. It should be noted that journalists from Western countries, no matter how biased they ask, are defeated by the President's convincing answers, because Azerbaijani leader wins on the diplomacy along with martial law; because we are restoring historical justice. We are liberating our lands which are under occupied for 30 years. Victory is Ours! Karabakh is Azerbaijan!
