A few days left before the start of the international cycling tour "Tour d'Azerbaidjan-2016", consisting of 5 stages, dedicated to 93 anniversary of the National Leader of Azerbaijan people Heydar Aliyev, organized by the Azerbaijani Cycling Federation with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Republic, National Olympic Committee and the International Cycling Union. International cycling tour "Tour d'Azerbaidjan-2016", starting on May 4, as in previous years, will consist of 5 stages. The "Tour d'Azerbaidjan-2016" will involve 21 teams from 19 countries. Six teams of them are pro-continental, 14 teams including "Synergy Baku" are continental, and 1 national one. The composition of each team will be 6 cyclists. Members in total will overcome distance of 791 km, in particular, on May 4 at the 1st stage on the route of Baku-Sumgait (154 km), on May 5 at the 2nd stage on the route of Baku-Ismayilli (186.5 km), on May 6 at the 3rd stage on the route of Gabala-Oguz-Sheki-Oguz-Gabala (177.2 km), on May 7 at the 4th stage on the route of Gabala-Pirgulu (115.3 km), and on May 8 at the last stage on the route of Baku-Absheron-Baku (158 km). International cycling tour will be presented to viewers in a 15-minute review each day on the "Eurosport 1" channel, and in the evening with a 45 minute overview on the "Eurosport 2" channel.
